Jaime:

1. Tell us a bit about yourself?

I'm 21 years old originally from Boston, Massachusetts. I will be a senior at the University of Arizona pursuing a business degree in marketing.

Makeup, skincare, and wellness have always been a passion of mine. I love discovering new brands and testing out products.

In my free time I love to workout, go to the beach, and spend time with family and friends.

I am excited to apply my marketing knowledge to my passion this summer at Florapy!

2. How do you like living in LA so far?

Living in LA is something that I have always dreamed about being from the east coast. 

I'm so excited to finally be here and explore everything LA has to offer.

3. What are you most excited about interning at Florapy?

I am most excited to be apart of the Florapy family and contribute to the growth and success of Florapy Beauty.

4. What are three fun (and maybe a bit weird) things most people do not know about you.

A few things people do not know about me is that my favorite animal is a cow because of the print/colors of course!

I am subscribed to several beauty influencers on YouTube and love watching their videos everyday, and most of my wardrobe is from my favorite store Missguided

5. Tell us about a someone that inspires you.

Cliché but my mom and dad inspire me to pursue my dreams everyday and to work hard at every opportunity given to me.

I aspire to be as successful and selfless as they are.

6. What is your favorite Flower and Essential Oil? 

My favorite flower is a white rose because white is my favorite color and I think that the rose is a classic and timeless flower.

My favorite essential oil is lavender because of its soothing and calming benefits and its purifying and balancing natural oils that create healthy, vibrant skin.

7. Favorite Florapy Mask?

I have two favorites😊

The Detox Mask is perfect for renewing and refreshing my skin to get rid of dullness and impurities leaving my skin feeling clean and youthful.

8. What one thing you would like check of your bucket list this summer?

Las Vegas is a place that I am going to check off of my bucket list this summer.

I cant wait to experience North Americas largest B2B beauty event, Cosmoprof.

Samantha:

My name is Samantha Vaughn, I’m originally from Scottsdale, Arizona. This coming year I will be a senior attending The University of Arizona studying Retail and Consumer Science with a focus on the beauty industry. I fell in love with makeup ever since my mom allowed me to buy my first mascara. As I grew older I found myself investing more and more in skincare. With a background in dance I was always creative and artistic, makeup and skincare gave me a way to turn my passions into a career. I am excited to join my love for artistry, product development and marketing with Florapy!  

It was super overwhelming at first, but I love it now. Being from Arizona I am used to a lot of wide open space, something that is hard to come by in the heart of Hollywood. However there’s a little bit of everything here and so many beautiful spots I’m looking forward to exploring. My favorite thing about LA is how motivating it is, so many dreams come true here it really gets you excited to work hard to make it.

I am excited to see all the behind the scenes of a company and find innovative ways to share the brand with the world. The company culture is really fun and I’m super excited to be welcomed in!

I am obsessed with my corgi named Toby and I made him his own Instagram it’s so lame but he’s the love of my life.

I have a little bit of OCD everything on my desk and in my closet has to be on a right angle. Especially my makeup and skincare organization I always keep it looking perfect.

A lot of my family descends from the UK and I’m obsessed with British everything, I’ve been to the London multiple times, all the clothes I buy are from the UK and (I think) I have an amazing British accent.

My dad has always been a huge inspiration for me. His work ethic is amazing and he has overcome so many challenges in his lifetime. He’s made such a positive impact on the lives of many and I am so lucky to be his daughter.

My favorite flower is white hydrangea, I want them everywhere on my wedding day. My favorite essential oil is patchouli because I love warm calming scents.

I of course can’t pick just one! I love the Deep Hydration Mask because my skin desperately needs it in dry Arizona heat. I also love the Stress Relief Mask because of the calming scent I love doing that before I go to sleep.

I’m super excited to go to Universal Studios I love theme parks and I’ve never been!
